Ever thought you where a bit of a clown? This year SYTE has partnered with The Leafy Sea Dragon Festival and Country Arts SA to bring you the Leafy Sea Dragon Troupe. There are two workshops offered in Yankalilla with clowning artist Hew Parhem and super tutor Karen Holmes to create clown characters and performance for the Leafy Sea Dragon Festival launch and street party.

Leafy Sea Dragon Troupe
Up to 30 young people from the Yankallila Region have the opportunity to be a part of this fantastic project. Over 10 weeks you will get the chance to work with clowning extroadinare Hew Parham (recently returned from clown school in Canada) and SYTE Super Tutor Karen Holmes. You will learn new skills, explore live performance techniques and create your own roving clowning character to perform as part of the Leafy Sea Dragon Troupe in the fabulous 2011 Leafy Sea Dragon Festival! To be a part of this adventure you must book and pay for the course before workshops commence. There are limited places and priority will be given to those who book and pay first.
