To join a SYTE Workshop all participants (or their parents/caregivers) need to fill in an enrolment form and pay the annual Membership fee as well as the Term Fee for that Workshop

How to Enrol in a Workshop

 

The content of our workshops is decided in consultation with the participants on a Semester by Semester basis. Tutors plan & deliver workshops which specifically address the skill levels, needs & interests of their workshop group. SYTE accepts new members all year round – acceptance is at the discretion of the relevant tutor & Artistic Director.

Fees By Installments

 

To Pay Workshop fees by an installment plan, simply arrange a payment plan with the SYTE office. The Annual membership fee of $15 must be paid before the workshop commences, and can not be paid in the installment plan.

Fees need to paid for before the 8th week of the term.

Workshop Membership $15 (for young people enrolled in one or more workshops)

• Opportunity to be invited into the SYTE productions ensemble.

• One free ticket to one of SYTE’s major productions.

• One free ticket to one performance of A SYTE for your Eyes.

• Regular newsletters, mail outs and email updates.

• Cheap tickets to shows by other theatre companies.

 

Don't understand why you need to pay a membership fee as well as a workshop fee?

Well its simple, really. The membership fee covers a participant's insurance. This covers the participant if there is any sort of accident whilst the participant is under SYTE's care. The fee is required to be payed when the participant first enrols at SYTE (No matter what time of the year the participant starts) and is renewed at the beginning of each year. By bulk renewing all membership fees SYTE is able to keep the fee at a minimum, making membership more accessible to a wider range of participants.

SYTE needs YOU! If you are over 18, or a parent interested in helping support our tutors, please contact the office. We need a volunteer night class roster, admin and project support. Workshop discounts available to successful volunteers.
