SYTE conducts theatre skill and performance workshops for young people aged 4—26 years who live in the fastest growing area of Adelaide – Onkaparinga.

SYTE runs workshops at The Arts Centre at Port Noarlunga on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

There are also workshops at the Yankalilla Youth Centre on Wednesdays, and the Hall at Goolwa on Mondays.

SYTE workshops and projects aim to empower and develop interpersonal and communication skills and foster the imagination’s of young people from our local community and their audiences.

Underlining the personal development outcomes for our participants is a strong commitment to providing the highest possible standard of professional development opportunities for any young person wishing to grow as a person, as well as those wishing to investigate a career in the performing arts.

Calling all Young Playwrights

Syte are asking all young writers aged 10-26yrs of Southern Adelaide to send in your short theatre scripts and win! The shortlisted scripts will be rehearsed, directed and performed by the SYTE ensemble. The winning script will be directed by the Artsitic Director of SYTE. The showing and award ceremony will happen at 'a SYTE for your eyses' on September 26.

Almond Blossom Festival Parade

On Sunday 26 July SYTE will be participating in the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival parade. Then we will be performing a Theatre Sports Competition on the oval 12.30-1.00pm. Come along and cheer us on!
